Pumpkin Patch

This year we decided to keep tradition and go to the Irvine Park Pumpkin Patch. This is now our third visit to the Pumpkin Patch and the girls just love it. I’m not sure they enjoy mommy following every step they make with a camera in hand! Never the less, they are used to it by now and have fun watching mommy not watch her step and almost falling a few times. We enjoy visiting the patch every chance we get. This year I decided to take them a few days before we even pick out our pumpkins because I needed a few good shot for their birthday invites this year. This year I decided to add both parties into one so Avery would still get her 5th birthday party. Arianna get’s to enjoy her 3rd and of course it has to be festive for the upcoming holiday everyone just loves because it inlcudes……candy, eating, and being a kid again.

Here are a few shots I took of the girls having fun and posing for momma.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we visited the Pumpkin Patch in Irvine.  It was our second time visiting this Pumpkin Patch and I wanted it to be a special place we start coming to every year as the girls pick out the Pumpkin they want. We started off by taking a few pictures since the location was great. After putting the girls through my torture with picture taking while all tke kids around them were having fun picking out pumpkins I let them have at it and pick them out. Arianna picked a pretty good pumpking perfect for her size, and Avery picket hers out perfect for her size. When we got home it was to late to carve them…all though the girls didn’t seam to think so!  we decided to carve them another day and just head to bed. It was a nice family day together and the girls got to ride the train right before we left.

Arianna’s two

This day was a special day and took weeks in planning. I took day’s thinking of the cake I wanted to make, and came up with some creative idea’s for goodie bags, and cup cakes. I was so excited that Kevid tried to participate in the creating of goodie bags and helping me as much as he could with creative ideas. I spent a lot of time on Etsy picking out her outfit. Although very similar to what she had last year, I was still please with her ourfit.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and thank you for sharing this special day with my family!

Bear’s 1st Birthday

Today was my god sons 1st birthday party. The theme was Tomas the Train. At the begining of the day it seamed as if the birthday was going to be washed away with the rain. It had rained the whole week and didn’t think Sunday was going to be an exception. For some strang reason today was such a beautiful sunny day. It rained for all of 20 min in the morning and the day ended up being hot, sunny, and simply perfect for a perfect little boy. My girls just love this little man and can’t get enough of him. They refer to him as “my little brother” and i’m thinking they to have come to grips with the fact that daddy might not have boys.

The goodies were great and it was  fully equiped with an awsome Salvadorian cook. This food is so good and I can literally never get enough. I mean really!!!! I can still eat even after I’m stuffed. The goodie bags were so cute and the decorations worked out as well. I’m glad I can be a part of this little man’s life and look forward to all his other birthday’s to come.

Monkey’s turning One

Today was my little one’s first Birthday party. I was so excited and filled with joy I didn’t know what to do or where to start. I was lucky enough to have my cousins house available to me for the event, and she was nice enough to help with get everything done the day before so I could actually enjoy the party more the day of. Although it still didn’t work out that way the next day I can say this is one of my best birthday’s yet.

Arianna is a joy to be around and a hand full at the same time. She’s for sure lived up to her Monkey name with out even knowing what monkey’s do. This little one was clumbing on things before she could crowl, or walk. Since she was born I’ve seen so much change in such a short time. It seams like only yesterday I was breastfeeding and just watching her watch me. I miss those days, but am looking forward to the days that are in front of us to.

Thank you everyone for coming and sharing this special day with my family and I.

Long Beach Aquarium

This was Avery second time visiting the Aquarium and both Arianna And Devonay’s frist time visiting the aquarium. It was our first time as a family and we went with my little big brother Matthew and his wife. This was a fun family outing that ended in laughes, giggles, and two kind a drunk females ready to finish the the night with a few more drinks at the “Casa” de Rosa. Both the girls and D had a great time. They loved looking at all the sea creatures and Avery of course new all the names of each creature..ince it as not her first time!

All and all it was a great day and I can’t wait to do it again!

Lilah turns ONE!

Today is Lilah’s first birthday. A very special day for our new addition to the family. Untill Lilah it was all Kevin’s girls. Cheyenne, Avery, and Arianna. He was way ahead of the game and it was time someone else had a child. So it was Kiomi. Kevin and Kiomi are like brother and sister. They both grew up together so this is his first niece. There was no way we would miss this little princesses birthday!

Kiomi of course out did her self like always. If it’s one thing I can tell you about my sister in law….it’s go big, or go home!!!! This little girls birthday was filled with a candy land table, a table for cup cake decorating, face  painting, two piniota’s, and games for all the kids to play. Avery wasn’t too much of a sport when she fell down during the potato sack race. She was upset and stormed off. I’m not sure if Arianna cares about losing or winning but she had a great time. I added a few pictures of this wonderful even and I hope you enjoy!

I did add two pictures of Arianna and uncle phil and Arianna with titi Nisha. The story behind the pictures is when Arianna was only 6 months old Kevin and I asked Phil and Nisha to baby sit the girls for us while we attended an event. That was the day “The Chaney Girls” was created. When leaving one event that they attended with us when Phil was asked what he was doing, he responded with “I’m watching The Chaney Girls” I loved the way that sounded and that’s where the story begings. Arianna didn’t want Phil for nothing in the world. She was stuck on Nisha the whole night. I don’t think she even gave Nisha a chance to go potty. But Nisha was a trooper and Arianna has loved her ever since. The picture of Arianna and Phil is added because she does love Phil….but he has nothing on the shouldn’t loving Nisha get’s!!!

Devani’s 3rd Birthday

Today was a special day for my nephew. He was turning four years old. This year just came to fast and having a birthday party wasn’t in the plans. But his parents had something special planned for him later. I of course being the only aunt in California had to do something special for my D!

So……

what did I end up doing you ask? I went to a CVS, baught him a gun and a really cool ball that had things inside of it. I had to do something on the DAY of his birthday. I feel birthday should always be special on the day of. Even if it’s a small cup cake, someone singing happy birthday to you, getting a specific meal made for you.  Just something to make you feel like your the only one that is special that day. I had to complet his day with a cookies and cream cake from Cold Stone and three cool looking candles. It was yummy! here are a few shots of how  yummy the cake was.

Happy Birthday Devani, titi loves you very much.
