Christmas with the Chaney’s

Grandma Wanda wanted to take family pictures this year. So we decided to get the Chaney girls together (Avery & Cheyenne)  for a day of fun with Grandma Wanda and Grandpa Kevin. We don’t go to their house to often because something always comes up and being in a car with a small child who is still being breastfed it not to fun if we run into traffic.

We do need to try and make more trips out to the Chaney house but I’m hoping since they can make some trips to our house to. At least Tylor is easier to be in the car with than a five month old!!!

This shoot was really nice this we had the family together and it’s been a while since they’ve seen Chey. This was day two of getting Cheyenne and we got some great pictures of the Chaney men with the Chaney girls. All and all we had a great time, got to eat some of Grandma Wanda’s great food and headed home after the shoot since it was a Sunday and Cheyenne had a few things already lined up that she had to do.

Day with Cheyenne

It’s been a while since Chey has seen her other grandparents. This young lady has about five sets of grandparents. Lucky girl, I shouls day so! We decided to see if we could get her for a day to go visit grandpa Kevin and Grandma Wanda. Once we arived they told us about wanting to take pictures the next day for Christmas.

Once that was seattled we ate, hung out and Cheyenne and Tylor got some much needed time to hang out. It’s weird since Tylor is only a year older than Cheyenne it’s funny to see them together because they act more like cousin than aunt and niece.

I love watching Kevin and Cheyenne together. She brings out a light in his eyes you only see when she’s around. It’s like he has to talk her ear off as much as he can, and find out as  much as he can about how she’s been doing since we don’t see her as often as we would  like. Cheyenne is one of those busy girls that enjoys helping everyone. She’s always busy with school. church, singing, and just being a tween, she even helps her grandma out. She is an all around great little lady to have in your life. I’m honored to have her in my life and especially honored to have her as Avery’s big sister.

It was a fun day and we even get to get Cheyenne two days in a row so that makes for an even better weekend.
