Easter Sunday

I’ve been planning this for a few weeks now but for some reason never have enough time to do what I want to do. My cousin was nice enough to let me use her house yet again and we sent out an invite to all our family and friends. We got lucky enough to have just about everyone who was invited come and we had a great time.

First we did the small kids “Easter Egg Hunt” and watched Lailani get just about 60% of the eggs. She was smart and looked in all the hard places first. After that we let the older kids go. It was fun watching them look for them. Of course we had to hide the eggs in hard to reach places and that was so much fun to watch. Once we finished our egg hunts we started to feel the ground move back and forth. For a second I thought I was getting light headed (being that I had not eaten all day). I was wrong…it was an earthquake. I just hate earthquakes. We waited for a min thinking it wouldn’t be long but it still kept on going…it was really scary for all of us and my family doesn’t do good with earthquakes. But after it was finally over we stayed outside for a while just in case we would have an after shock. But no after shock and we headed indoors.

Thank  you everyone for coming to our special Easter Event and we hope to see you next year.

Easter time with friends/family

Because of unforeseen circumstances we no longer are doing what once was “Mya, Olivia, & Avery’s Easter Egg Hunt” for the past two years I’ve decided to just make it “Avery & Arianna’s Easter Egg Hunt” I wasn’t to happy about this the first time it happened and we couldn’t do it but decided “you can’t make everyone happy, so just work on doing for your family and the rest will follow”

On that note, I decided to do something the Saturday before Easter.  Some of Avery’s friends/family had other plans,  I know she would love to see her friends/family on or before Easter. So I did what moms do best and did what I could do so she could have that chance and they could all enjoy themselves.

The plan was to color some eggs, take some pictures, do a small Easter egg hunt, take some more pictures, eat some food, and watch the girls play together. Well……it didn’t’ work out that way. We only got to do the Easter egg hunt, the kids played, and we took some pictures. All in all we all had a great time and enjoyed each others company. When Avery, and Arianna see their friends/family that means mommy get’s to see her friends/family to. So it was a great time and I look forward to doing it again next year.

Daddy did stop by for a min to take a family picture.
