Growing up in Tustin I can remember all the little fun activities Tustin has to offer families; I remember going to Tustin High before I was old enough to go to the school and watching the beautiful fire works, going to Tustin Tiller Days before I was old enough to be a part of it, small cook offs, block garage sales, great reading time at the Tustin Library, Police Day’s, and so on and so on. The list for Tustin just keeps going on and on and on. We’ve seen the Tustin Chili Cook Off signs for about two weeks now and wanted to go but wasn’t quite sure about taking the kids. We decided to go and take the kids with us…bad idea! it was around Arianna’s nap time, and the heat just about made it Avery’s nap time. They did good for the first hour but after that both girls were ready to go home.
We still had a pretty good time and just seeing stands for Tustin High school just brought back great memories from when I used to do the stand as a cheerleader, and seeing old friends was just as nice. It’s nice to see friends married, with kids, and all grown up!
